I want to change the template that comes up when I start a new Excel 2007 workbook (to eliminate sheets 2 and 3, so my workbooks always start with one worksheet). I can’t find the thing!

I’ve tried altering the template @ C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice12XLSTART by opening it (File>Open), deleting sheets 2 and 3, saving it as Workbook.xlt, and closing it. But when I open a new workbook (File>New) and choose Blank Workbook, I still get all three sheets.

Can anyone help me out here?

    Thanks!

Woo hoo! There it was! Thank you, Jim — I’m finally converting to Office 2007 after using Office 2000 since 1999 (and earlier versions since about 1994, before there was an Office). I feel like Rip Van Winkle.
