Change hyperlink from web to e-mail (XP)

I imported some contacts from a text file. I then designated the e-mail field a hyperlink data type, which set all the e-mails up as hyperlinks. However, they go to web page of the service provider. Is there a simple way to change the hyperlinks to e-mail instead of editing each one?

I saw some other posts that had code, which I don’t know enough about to use. I was hoping for an update query or something like that.
