I receive this error upon boot upalong with the windows is searching for a solution. Unfortunately windows never finds a solution.
I am guessing that this is associated with HP solution software instructing me to install new drivers for ATI Graphics driver for integrated and Non-HDMI Graphics solutions 4-12 and 4-19 and AMD integrated Graphics driver 5-6. These drivers were downloaded and showed successfully applied. When they continued to show up on the maintenance schedule I contacted HP support. They repeated the same proceedures with the same results. The only results that they generated were to get to the driver installs to show unsuccesful on the their support software.
Their next act was to try and do a restore but did not set the Norton 360 software tamper protection for an adequate length of time. After the restore, the system would not log in so we booted to safe mode and undid the restore.
HP Technical support then tried to blame the problems on an upgrade from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Pro. Their approach is two fold: step 1 destructive recovery step 2 return the computer to HP.
The computer is operating well outside of the error message and non function of catalyst control and the bizarre behavior of the typically rock solid HP support assistant software.
Has factory tech support actually deteriorated?
What do you think is the best approach?
