The other day I thought I’d try a little “seat of the pants” security. I didn’t want others reading my email while I was gone, so just reamaned Outlook Express’ executable program, MSIMN.EXE, to MSIMN.FAL.

To check the new security, a double click on the destop icon caused a small box to flash on screen (that I couldn’t read), then the “Compression Agent” program for “DriveSpace3” came on, asking for input! Huh? One more press of the ENTER key and the compression agent would begin running, and I assume, convert my hard disk to a compressed disk. NOT the security I wanted! What happened? I have Windows 98 and Outlook Express 5.5
