I have upgraded my digital camera from a Canon A30 to a Panasonic TZ2. Wooo Hoo! What a difference. Amazing changes in technology over 7 years.
So I went the whole hog with the SD card and went for an 8 Gb. I mean, who wants to ‘run out of film’ at any point. So all is well in that department.
BUT none of my card readers read the SD card. (I have tried it with two different external card readers and two different PCs with internal devices) I am assuming that the problem is that the larger capacity SD card is High Density. At the moment, then, I have to connect my camera to my PC via the provided cable. A slow process which I would like to speed up.
So my questions are: Am I right in assuming that the current reading problems are to do with the HIgh Density; and, what can I do about it?
