I suspect this is kinda a naïve question but here goes. Some of the web sites I frequently visit facilitate the downloading of audio sermons etc., but there are the occasional ones like (eg) Visit My Website which allow one to listen to but not download them so the only way I am able to make a recording of a particular broadcast is [in real time] to capture it on cassette then copy [again in real time] to HD using my Ion turntable but this is rather a laborious process. Apart from substituting my cassette player with a CD recorder is there any other way to capture such audios please. Thanks Dave.

      Dave,

The first thing you need to do is to check the copyright notice on the web site that is hosting the audio. Often the reason that something is not made available for download is not technical but a decision of the copyright holder.

Thanks Stuart, perhaps I will drop them an email and see what the score is regarding why the sermons are not offered for download. Regards Dave.
