I forwarded an email from work (Lotus Notes) to my home machine. I would like to convert the cc: list text into Outlook contacts. Anyone know how? I couldn’t find any built-in facility. Is this a job for VBA?

Replies

Out of the box, you can right click on a recipient (To, CC, BCC) and choose to add to contacts. You can also select a single name and drag to either a contact folder or the contacts shortcut. These are one-by-one processes. Other than this, I think you have to cut code.

Thanks for the info. I tried dragging once and found that the cc list from Notes is sub-optimum for this process. It puts spaces into the name and drops off the .com. Time to cut code. Or maybe Notes can export addresses.
