Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
Recently, long after I installed SP2, Windows won’t shut down any more. It hangs on the ‘Closing Network Connections’ window. The only way to continue after this point is to power off and on. When Windows restarts there are no errors or warnings about Windows not having closed down properly. I really can’t pinpoint when this problem started, but I haven’t done anything dramatic that I can think of.
Any ideas, anyone?
