Select data I want displayed in a quickie chart – F11 – get nothing but a blue screen. Even if I go through the whole chart wizard, still can’t see anything!!! What’s up with this???

    Thanks again

Does this happen with all workbooks, old ones, newly created ones, etc or only particular ones?

        So far, just the one

Then the workbook has some interference with code in it or is corrupt.

If the workbook does have code you can disable it and see it if fixes it, and then try to track down the code that is problematic. If there is no code, you can try to fix the corruption:
          Open the file
          Save-as “Webpage ”
          Close the file
          Open the html file
          Save-as Excel workbook

Possibly even opening a new workbook and copying the sheet’s CONTENTS (not the sheet itself) to a new sheet in the book could help. If you have lots of links between the sheets you may have to try moving (though this may not be as effective, it should keep the links.)

Not surprised – so far, really don’t care for 2007 – duh! Thanks for the info – will give both a try. Have a great day.

I cn’t comment on XL2007 as we are still using XL2002 and there are no plans to change…

It’s got some pretty cool bells and whistles but, obviously, some really annoying “oops” factors . . .

              Again, my thanks.
