Can’t print from Windows Fax & Scan

I am running WIN 10 21H2 build 19044.2006

I am not able to print to any printer, whether hardware or virtual, from Windows Fax & Scan. The problem began fairly recently, though I can’t pinpoint an exact time in relation to any update.

I hope someone knows something about this.

Do you get the print preview?
Can you print to XPS/PDF instead?
Do you get any error messages?
Have you looked in Event Viewer for errors? Use Nirsoft FullEventLogView to make it easier.

Thank you for the suggestions. It turns out that the fax itself was the problem. Other faxes printed just fine. I even had the sender resend it twice & they couldn’t print either. This is a sender from whom I regularly receive faxes – the IRS. I’m thinking something changed in their eFax system since the last time they sent one.

If you can view the fax, take a screenshot and print that – if you must print anything.
