I have a wireless network using an airport. I can connect to the network, bur I cannot log into the server by mapping a drive.
If I use a Mac, I can get to both the network and server, so the passwords and IP address that I am using are correct.
I get a “\10.0.1.2 exists but windows cannot find shared items” error message when I try to map the drive. I also have been able to get to a login screen, but the correct ID and Password are not accepted.
This happens with PCs running both win7 professional and Win8.
Suggestions would be appreciated.
