I just installed an HP Pavillon desktop PC, and added it to my home/office network. It uses Vista Home Premium. My other PCs use XP Pro and ME.
From the new PC, I can get to the internet, but I can’t see any of the other PCs. From the old PCs, I can see the new PC, but I can’t get to it; that is, I can’t see that there are shared directories. All PCs use the same WorkGroup Name.
I called HP Support, but apparently networking issues aren’t covered in their “Total Care”. They directed me to WindowsNetworking.com, which didn’t help. I wonder what they will say when I return the computer?
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem?
