Can I decrease the list of programs pane width?

Try consolidating and deleting first. Put all your printers in a folder called “Printers”. Put your various added programs like PartitionMagic, Spybot, Perfectdisk, etc into a folder called “Utilities”. Delete at least one of the Windows Media Player, Realplayer, etc entries and you will have a more manageable “Start Menu”. You miight want to cruise over to Kelly’s Corner or to JSI’s Reghacks to see if they have anything that may help.

I have too many programs installed and I cant see all of the them on the all programs with the panes side by side because the panes are too wide. Any way to narrow the panes down??

I also think you’ve got something in your Start Menu (one or MORE entries) with a very LONG name and the columns take on the width of the longest. Try editing the longer names to something shorter and see if that helps.
