How can I make Outlook print only one month without having to laboriously configure it each time I print? Typically, Outlook will default to printing at least two months and sometimes three.

Open Outlook and select “File, Page setup, Monthly Style” and add a check in the post next to “Print Exactly one month per page”.
      This should do it.

I guess I wasn’t clear. I’m already printing one month per page. It’s just that I don’t want to print multiple months, even if they’re on separate pages. If I’m looking at the month of September, for example, I want to print only September without having to modify the print range each time to prevent it from printing one or more additional months as well.
