calendar control (xp (developer version))

I am trying to add the calendar control to a form (I have tried it in a new db and an existing one) all I get is one of these error messages “apologising for any inconvenience caused” and wanting me to send the error to MS, then closing out of Access.

Fine, but how do I get an instance of a calendar to appear? Any ideas.
