    It’s fairly straightforward to create a button in xl to open another xl file. I’d like a button in xl however, that when pressed would launch Word, and open a file called say C:/aardvark.doc
    PS I’m v inexperienced in vb so go easy…

      You can make it a hyperlink. Select the button and the click on Insert Hyperlink icon on the Standard toolbar.
