I want to create business cards to print on standard business card stock (Geographics). Each card is 2″ x 3/2″ and the layout is 2 across and 5 down on 8 1/2 x 11.

If I select Blank Publications -> Business Cards, I only get 2 choices for print layout, 1 card centered in the middle of the page or 3 cards down the middle of the page.

If I select Publications by Wizard -> Business Cards and then follow the wizard to completion, I get 2 choices for print layout, 1 card centered in the middle of the page or 2 across and 5 down. This is the layout I want but now I have to delete what the wizard created and start from blank.

Should I not just be able to select the 2 x 5 layout somewhere?

I think you’ll find an advanced button on bottom left of print window. This allows you to customise the horizontal and vertical spaces that allow you to set it up the way you want. From 1 per page you can get whatever the sizes will allow within your card measurements

Once I select Print, there is a Page Options dialogue that gives 2 choices, Print one copy per sheet or Print multiple copies per sheet. Sometimes when I select multiple I get a 2×5 layout and sometimes I get a 1×3 layout.

Sorry, I was working from memory when I first responded.
If you press for the ‘page options’ button, in the next window you should see a ‘custom options’ button. Press that one and you can set it up as I mentioned earlier

The custom option is still only based on the 1 x 1 or 1 x 3 layout. I want a 2 x 5 layout.

In the Custom Box if you change the sizes of the horizontal and vertical spaces between your cards you get it to show the right number of cards across and down.
