Hello everyone:

I am retyping a document that has bullets as follows: 1.0;1.1;1.2; 2.0;2.1;.2.2; can anyone tell me what has replace this type of bullet in word xp

Does the Outline Numbering tab of the Bullets and Numbering dialog contain what you need?

I do not see; this type of bullet, hold on; hans I have checked in the Bulleted; Numbered; and outline numberd, including the list styles.

I could do this manually but I know there is something that will allow me to create on the automatic.

I’m sorry, I do not understand what you mean.

Perhaps you are trying to type something that the Lounge doesn’t show?

Or perhaps you want the AutoCorrect settings? Select Tools | AutoCorrect Settings…, and activate the AutoFormat as you type tab. There are check boxes for automatically applying bulleted lists and numbered lists.

I have typed a few sample of the bullets from the original document

As far as I can see, that’s outline numbering, level 2. One way to get it, ist to start typing

1.1 Description of the work

When you press Enter, Word will apply outline numbering. Click in the first paragraph, select Format | Bullets and Numbering, click customize and specify that you want to start at 0.

Note: I don’t think this is different in Word XP from previous versions.
