I was just wondering if other people have found the same as I have – the XP & Vista “browse for shortcuts” does not happen in Windows 7.

I copied a lot of files and shortcuts from Vista into my Windows 7 system and found that most of the shortcuts continued to work. I did not get the “browse for shortcuts” message that I always got in the past. The programs just ran. That was a great revelation to me.

Noticed the same thing. Old shortcuts that pointed C:Program Files still worked even though the app was now in C:Program Files (x86)

      Very nice.
