I am attempting to clean up a friends Windows XP Media Edition PC. my problem is someone has changed the default background that appears behind the Login screen. I would like to know where to reset this setting and or change the setting to a different image. Once windows log’s in the background disappears and I can access some of the display settings. this is where the next problem begins. When I get to the Display Properties, DESKTOP tab I am locked out of making any changes, except background color, all the rest of the tabs are functional, but not this one. It’s the background section that is non functional.
    Any help will be appreciated.
