Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
Hi – I have a new laptop that is having problems getting a wireless signal in parts of our home. My old laptop did not have this problem. The new laptop seems fine if I’m close to the base station, but doesn’t seem to pick up a signal from the Apple Airport Express. My old card was Dell TrueMobile 1300 WLAN Mini-PCI Card. My new card is Dell Wireless 1490 802.11 a/g Dual-band Mini Card. I would appreciate any suggestions.
