    Hi;

    I have a page with several bookmarks, and a list on an index page linking to them. Once you’ve clicked one of the links, the page becomes ‘visited’ and all the links to bookmarks within it turn gray on the index. Is there a way to prevent all links going to bookmarks on a page from turning gray after one of them is visited?

    Thanks,
    Dave

      Nope – don’t think so. That is controlled by the browser – not the HTML on the page.

      You could add a CSS line or two to control the color of the visited links, and make the color value the same as unvisited ones….an idea to try. smile

        But wouldn’t that affect all visited links?

          Just for the page that has the style embedded….it’s entirely possible, of course, that I am completely misunderstanding what Bob is saying too! confused

      Dave,

      I have some code here that will keep the first bookmark in one color and allows the second to be visited. I have all the paragraph spaces so that you have enough ‘real estate’ on the screen for section 2 to appear on the top of the screen.

      Hope this is what you seek!,

      Try this:
      ========Start of test========

      Test Colored Bookmarks

      Section 1

      Section 2

      Blah, blah, blah.

      Section 1

      This is…

      Section 2

      This is…

      End

      ========End of test========
