I need to make a 16-pg booklet (11×17 folded) from 16 powerpoint slides. I have a procedure set up to import from excel to ppt to make 80 ppt files using excel data. Now the client wants them in a booklet format. Does PPT2002 do this? Can anyone recommend an ez solution? Thanks much flee

      Have you considered using Publisher?

Never even crossed my mind. I will look at it. I just need to be able to merge excel data and graphs into some other program. I’ll try it and see. Thanks

Publisher doesn’t have vba so I can’t make it link to Excel. I’m trying ClickBooks2000 now to see if that works.

In Publisher there is an option to link if you use Insert/Object/From File.

      Why not use Word?

We’ve found Word to be unstable when we’re trying to put charts in from Excel. They move, change size etc. and we haven’t had good luck. It’s much more stable in PPT. If I have too, however, I will do it in word if I can’t think of anything else.

Even in word, tho, how do you do a booklet? thanks

I wouldn’t say Word is the best solution – just the one you have on hand.
You might want to try the links mentioned in this thread from the Word Board.
