I’ve looked high and low in my WSUS system and do not see that patch being offered to my server 2016 v1607 servers. And has not been installed on any of our 2016 servers.

The link mentioned terminal server. We run datacenter 2016 edition on vmware.

It’s the optional update, you’d have to approve it.

Not sure why but never appeared in WSUS and my classifications are correct. I checked approved, un-approved and declined and don’t see it. Our server is set to sync at around 1:00AM so that if a patch gets pulled shortly after release, our WSUS will not find it.class

For whatever reason WSUS does not pull this during a sync. I would need to import it from the Windows Catalog. I logged into one of the servers and had it check Microsoft for updates and it then began downloading that patch. UGH! So then I scrambled to stop windows update service.

I just ran a manual sync on WSUS and it doesn’t pull that update. As mentioned I’d have to import it to make it available in WSUS.

4487006 was not published to WSUS.  You have to manually import it.  Funny thing is, 7006 supposedly fixes BSOD issues in the 7026 CU:

“Addresses a reliability issue with win32kfull.sys introduced in KB4487026.”
      https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4487006/windows-10-update-kb4487006

Now 7006 is also causing BSODs on a slightly different driver (win32kbase.sys).

I had installed 7006 (which supercedes 7026) on our 2016 production servers to avoid the BSOD issues in 7026 but apparently that was wishful thinking.   Around and around we go.  When will it stop?  Nobody, not even at Microsoft, knows.

Does anyone know or suspect that the BSOD stop error is related to that also reported to occur with installing KB4487000? I have not yet installed this patch on anW8.1 X64 system until I could find out how widespread the issue might be.
