    Quickly, how many bricks are missing? Please give your first answer.

        True. I found this a bit more problematic than I should have done. However, my eyesight is failing et al.

          I initially had it at one less and I believe it it is the third row of missing bricks on the left hole that causes the problem shrug

      When you specified “quickly” I thought you were prompting for some quick counting method. I started by looking at the width of the missing 2 at top left, then tried to let my eyes compare each missing “row” to this datum. Got the same as Jezza – much faster than I could have by trying to count “singles” I think.
