..How does it work?

The three central modules (Privacy, Bloatware Uninstaller, and App Installer) that we know from Bloatynosy are presented directly on the homepage. Plugins can be accessed, for example, via the keyword “Plugin” or “AI” to remove AI in Windows 11/10. Additionally, many other Windows functions can be accessed and controlled through the search bar. Just give it a try with some queries or keywords…

Disable AI Bloatware on Windows 10 and 11 with BloatynosyAI

Microsoft continues to push Copilot aggressively, it is available on Windows, Microsoft Edge, Office. The AI-assistant is also coming to Notepad, even the SwiftKey Keyboard isn’t spared from these AI features. The thing is, while the AI-powered can be helpful, not everyone is a fan of Copilot and may want to disable it.

BloatynosyAI is a free app that can help disable the AI bloatware on Windows 10 and Windows 11..

Changelog

Deepening integration of the debloating plugin “Decrapify” into Winpilot for improved functionality.

Optimized DPI scaling and improved UI responsiveness.

Added new skills such as removing the new Outlook app for all users (Besides Zac Bowden, I’m also not vibing with the new Outlook app) and switching to the classic Mail and Calendar app. To achieve this function, all it takes is a chatbox query for ‘outlook’.

UI has been jazzed up a bit with a logo in the header and a temporary subheader ‘Bloatynosy.’

Thanks. I tried the exe and it hung up Windows Explorer (Windows 11 Pro) so I restarted Explorer and my experimentation ended there.

Winpilot 2024.6.19

..Given that Microsoft has recently taken the “wrong” direction again by turning its nice (not perfect but good) UWP-era Mail and Calendar app into a PWA, I wasn’t particularly thrilled, to put it mildly. Quite the opposite..

Winpilot is getting rid of the Edge WebView2 foundation and will return to being a classic application…

The old Winpilot app, based on the WebView2 core, will become Winpilot Legacy and will continue to be available for download. It may receive occasional updates, as it has currently been downloaded around 2 million times.

Here are some advantages of the new “old” classic Win32 desktop app

Transitioned the app to a “native” implementation, removing the need for WebView2
The app operates with minimal resource consumption and loads up to 70% faster
The app utilizes optimized yet classic Bloatynosy modules. The first two (CoTweaker Setup and Decrapify) have already been completely rewritten
Improved logging and system monitoring through Clippy; all settings are logged in the Clippy Bubble
The app no longer requires admin rights and must be manually granted, as Clippy prefers it that way
The Clippy character/appearance can be customized
Clippy can also be disabled
No Copilot support for now, but we may consider integrating Copilot with Clippy as our mascot in the future..

Compliance with Microsoft’s Recent Changes: Adjustments made to accommodate Microsoft’s updated CPU and TPM policies. Some infos are on Neowin

Some scripts have been refined and rigorously tested for stability within the app

Important Notes:

Microsoft does not officially support this method, but it still works as expected

The app is now flagged as PUA:Win32/Patcher by Microsoft Defender. You can safely ignore this if you wish to proceed with the upgrade. I will contact Microsoft to verify whether this is an official classification or a false positive..

..Update (February 7, 2025)

The current release v1.2 is no longer flagged by Windows Defender.
The previous “HackTool” classification only applies to v1.1.
If you’re still using the older version, be aware it might get intercepted by Defender.

An inquiry with Microsoft is ongoing, but for now, v1.2 remains clean and safe to use…
