Black Box in Outlook 365

I have noticed that there is a black box that resides on the top of my inbox. See screen capture. If you look closely you will see that it says ” Synchronizing Inbox “. I need to know why did this show up suddenly and how can I get rid of it. If I click on the UNREAD emails it will go away and go back to the READ back again. But, it comes back again later on.

Go to: File > Options > Advanced > Scroll down to Display > Check ‘Disable hardware graphics acceleration’ > OK.
Close Outlook > Re-open for a comparison.

What happens if there is no “display” option and there is no Disable hardware graphics acceleration’ option?  I am using Office 365 and have nothing but trouble

The option “Disable hardware graphics acceleration” has been removed from Outlook and other Office applications.
