I am working with a file sent by someone else. It is in binary format and I searched hi and lo for a way to import binary…is it possible? I had him convert it to text but some of the data were unreadable (some numbers appear as wingdings) after he converted it so I figured I would try the source binary file if possible.
    Thanks!!

It depends – what is the original format? If it’s some kind of database format, Access itself may be able to read it, or there may be an ODBC driver for it, or an external converter such as DBMSCopy from DataFlux.
