Beta 2 & Google (WXP)

I recently installed Beta 2, and then updated my Google desktop. Since then, IE kept crashing whenever I opened a second tab. I found I had to remove Google desktop to stop the crashes. Tried reinstalling Google, but the same thing happened again.

Anyone else experieince this?

Google Toolbar Beta is a new version that supports IE7 according to the web page.

Thanks for that. I’ve installed it and, so far, no problems. Now, I’ll re-install Desktop and see what happens.

So, I had no trouble with the toolbar, but as soon as i re-installed Desktop, I had the same crashing issue. I’ve closed Desktop and told it not to start automatically, and things are OK. In other words, I did not have to uninstall it, just close it. Strange.
