Howdy Loungers,

I often need to run one or two different macros on a big batch of arbitrary files. I decided to figure out a way to do it right from the command line, something like this:

> batchmacro MyMacro *.doc

This article on the O’Reilly Network explains how to do it using your choice of three OpenSource scripting languages and COM.

Putting the script in your WINDOWS folder makes it available from any directory. I’ve found it an indispensable tool. Hope someone else finds it useful too!
