    I am running Windows 7. I have Acronis backup installed. If I want to try another backup program do I have to uninstall Acronis.
    I was wondering if it would interfere with another backup program.?

      I have tried what you want to do and didn’t remove TI…

      But, after trying various programs I always settled back with TI…

        Thanks. I am frustrated with TT. Sometimes it works on Schedule and sometimes it doesn’t. I am loosing what little
        hair I have left, so thought I would try Macrium Reflect.

          There is a known problem with scheduled tasks and laptops that may still be unresolved. This is not an Acronis problem – it was caused by a change in Windows Vista (also Windows 7).

          Scheduled tasks on my laptops will wake the PC from standby, but then the task stops fairly quickly, and the laptop goes back to standby mode. The Acronis backup dos not complete until I manually start up the laptop.

      Fog, you should see no difficulties in installing and trying different backup programs on your computer.

      Same here. I tried and have used Macrium Reflect but am now trying TI 2011.

      Just dont’ have any schedules that overlap with each other if they are installed concurrently or schedule anything else hard drive related at the same time.
