Backup Error Message

I am getting the following error message

C:UsersHomeDesktopxxxbackop.pst can not be found

I had the backup utility installed and removed via add remove programs.

If I reinstall the utility will the error message go away?

I prefer not to have the utility installed and would like to not have the error message pop up every time I open up Outlook

Look in your navigation pane for the PST file and close it.

From your initial post it seems you have moved/deleted a PST archive file from the desktop. Outlook is attempting to mount this when it starts but cannot find it.
