I want to back up my OE address book [without exporting it as .wab] and saved messages onto my tape drive. What folder does OE save these in and under what file extension?

Are there any other essential OE files I should save [e.g. user data or system configuration files] that can’t be replicated in the event of a system crash or corrupted disk?

    Found the answer here: http://www.tomsterdam.com/insideOE/backup/bu_full.htm

Find the folder that your email and address book is stored in, and copy all files to a floppy or other device. When I was using OE, this is ALL I ever did, no exporting and importing. I even moved these files to other machines with newer versions of OS and OE, and they all worked.

You can use BBCodes to format your content.
