In a Word document with numbered paragraphs, I added a circle around the number. I changed the color from black to red and change the order to have the text/number in front if the circle. I now cannot remove the circles or change the order so I can remove them. Any ideas?

      Activate the Drawing toolbar.
Click the Select Objects button (so that it is “on” or “down”).
You should now be able to select the circles by clicking on them or by drawing a rectangle around one or more of them.
Don’t forget to turn off “Select Objects” when you’re done, otherwise you won’t be able to edit the text!

I can select your circle (around the 2) by right clicking and I can move it, delete it, rotate it, etc. etc. I can see no problem.
