I have a procedure in an Access db where I automate outlook to send a message. This has worked fine for the past several days during some testing. Today, however, I get an error on the Set objSession = CreateObject(“mapi.session”) line. The error is that the “ActiverX component can’t create the object.” I have been making some minor changes to other procedures in the project, but this procedure hasn’t changed. Any ideas?? Any help will be appreciated.

“ActiveX component can’t create object” can result from many different circumstances, some general (like not have permissions, or security restrictions) and some very object-specific. Have you tried Google? Most of the Microsoft knowledgebase is in there, and you can target MS context by adding site:microsoft.com to your query.
