Can you automatically send a email from microsoft access to outlook on the 1st of every month? We keep our birthday list in access and would like the list of everyone having a birthday that month to be emailed. The report only pulls that current month birthdays. If so how?

When you say “automatically” do you mean run the report on it’s own, or send an email when you run the report?

Either way you can send email various ways, either by calling Outlook or another email program like Blat from a report.

I would like it to run a report on it’s own. I’m using access 2003. How can this be done?

If your database is opened every day then it could be set to send the emails the first time it is launch on a specific date.

You could also use the task scheduler on a Computer that is always on to run open a database one a month and send the emails. If you are doing that It could run every day and send out the email on the actual day.

FWIW, There are also web sites that can be used to handle this.
