Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
Recently my dial-up modem (Robotics 56k voice pci) has stopped disconnecting automatically when I close IE or Outlook Express. I’ve checked properties through the Control Panel and Dial-Up Networking, but have obviously overlooked something.
I can disconnect it manually, of course, but it’s kind of a pain to remember, especially since I’ve never had to do that.
