My automatic fuction at boot up to log onto my network doesn’t work any more. I’ve got it set through TweakUI to log on automatically at system startup but it is being recalcitrant and I must do it manually. Any hints on where the problem might lie?

      What operating system?

I also have this problem. It worked for a while and now it doesn’t. Did you get it fixed? If so, how?

Nope – still won’t work. Have you made any changes to your CMOS settngs lately?

No, I haven’t. Automatic logon works fine on a Win95A machine I also have networked, but not the Win98SE machine. I think I’m going to get the Win98 Annoyances book and see if there might be some ideas in there. I’ll let you know if I come across anything. I’ve ignored this problem long enough, I’m going to get it fixed!

Go into CMOS and check to see if PME Event Wake Up status is disabled. I recently installed a new motherboard and when it changed the PME Event wake up from enabled to disabled, my automatic log in began to work. This is with Win98SE. I’d be curious if this works for you or not.
