I’m trying to auto-generate a unique id for an RFQ field (text – alpha numberic) in a form. I have the next unique id by doing a query, but I’m unable to get it inserted into the field when adding a new record. When setting the default value of the RFQ field to the query’s output, I get a #Name error? I’ve also tried doing VB when the form opens, but with limited knowledge of VBA, I’m not able to get it working. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
