I have had for two years my quick launch toolbar with auto-hide on the entire right side of my screen. (like a MAC) I moved it to the top with an accidental click and flip. It was stubborn at the top, and would not move back. I then unchecked quicklaunch and then re-enabled. Now all toolbars are missing the ability to auto-hide, the text is there for auto-hide but is not accessable. I ran chkdsk, sfc/scannow, sfc/purgecache. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?

I am now repaired. clapping I found I needed to throw the toolbar against the side of the screen so it would be full length without any adjusting. If I placed the toolbar on the desktop then resized it I would still be missing the ability to auto-hide. Go figure confused3 Or could it have been the installation of Operav8.5 last night causing the wierd behavior? I uninstalled it and all is well. exclamation

If you grab it by the title bar & drag it all the way to one side, the auto hide will be available. If it is simply on your desktop, the autohide will be dimmed.
      Hope this helps,
