Improvements and fixes
This update fixes an issue that causes graphical content to get deleted from email messages.my bolding
Now THAT is descriptive for kb4484418
So if you find that the email recipient isn’t receiving ‘graphical content’…Windows - commercial by definition and now function... -

AskWoody PlusAugust 8, 2020 at 1:01 pm #2287166PKCano,
Every time I have requested information from you, it has worked out perfectly. Therefore, I hope you continue your streak.
I just installed the July updates today (August 8, 2020) before Patch Tuesday into my Dell XPS Windows 10 computer Version 1903 HOME build 18362.959. I would like to upgrade to version 1909; however, when I click on updates, I do not receive any update for 1909, just a message that Windows version 2004 is on the way. What is the easiest way to install version 1909 onto my computer?
Thank you ahead of time for your advice.

ManagerAugust 8, 2020 at 1:00 pm #2287179Download the MS Windows and Office ISO Download Tool from Heidoc.net.
Put it on your Desktop and run it.
Download the latest Win10 v1909 ISO (I’m not sure, but I think the date is Mar 2020).You can install v1909 from the ISO two ways:
!. Right click on the ISO to mount it, choose “Open with” File Explorer, run setup.exe
2. Burn it to a DVD/USB to Create install media, insert the media in the running v1903, and run setup.exeYou should be disconnected from the Internet during the install or it will upgrade you to v2004 by downloading updates.

GuestAugust 10, 2020 at 11:03 am #2287603The Knowledge Base article webpages (KB4484454 & KB4092435) for the 2 Office 2010 updates acted like malware on my PC, swamping it. They took up all the RAM, 2 MB. I know that amount isn’t much & memory is cheap, but it is all my business can afford. Still, they shouldn’t have done that. About the only time a webpage does that is when it has ads. I wasted 16 minutes trying to deal with it.

AskWoody LoungerAugust 18, 2020 at 2:40 am #2289421Have just noticed that Outlook (16.0.13029.20344) is no longer honoring the Level1Add attachment blocking setting. Rolled back to 16.0.13029.20308, 16.0.13001.20498, 16.0.13001.20384 and 16.0.13001.20266 – still no good. Finally rolled back to 16.0.12827.20470, works again.
It didn’t make any difference whether the value was in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Security or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Security.
Procmon shows Outlook.exe fetching the key.
I can’t find any mention of changed behavior for this, and it’s hard to believe it’s a bug that has survived four or five new builds.
Anybody else seeing this?
