i recently had to reload win98 and since doing so in outlook when i try to attach multiple attachments at once (with control key) it won’t allow me to do so, i have to transfer each file individually (in ms explorer i can still do ctrl/click on several files and it’ll allow me to move, delete, whatever, all as a group); is there a setting in outlook that has gotten disabled? thanks

are you using word as the editor? AFAIK, word only allows one at a time but the outlook editor allows multiple attachments to be selected.

AFAIK – As Far As I Know, known as a TLA – Three Letter Acronym. Yes, there are more than three letters but I didn’t make the rules.

Check this link for others TLAs

maybe message format? i know plain text lets you add multiples.

I think MaryJ was correct in her first suggestion.

I changed my Outlook options to “use word as my email editor”, and then I could NOT select multiple files. After unchecking that option, I can now select multiple files for attachments.

TOOLS -> OPTIONS -> MAIL FORMAT Tab (see attached)
