I have three Win 10 computers all using Outlook 2016. To set up an email account, I need to enter a Secure Mail Key in the password box. Do I need a separate key for each computer or will the same key work on all three? I know back when a password instead of mail key was required, the same password worked on the accounts on all three machines.

The same key should work for the same email address.

How about different users on each computer? Will my wife’s email accounts use different Secure Mail Key?

The security key is a “more secure password” substitute. It is connected to ONE email address, just like a password is.
You will need a separate Security key for each email address, just like you need a separate password for each email address.

Yahoo says the key is NOT the same on all computers on a network. Guess all I can do is try it.

I now have the same Secure Mail Key working on the same email address on all three computers. So that answers my question.

      Thanks
