assign shortcut key to macro (2002)

How do I assign a shortcut key to macro that I have already written? (I know that when you record a new macro, the initial menu will let me assign the shortcut key)

Do I have to write code, or is there an easier way.

Do you have examples about listing the shortcut keys in an application, or how to set them / modify with code?
