Can anyone tell me the best way to accomplish the following:
I have a resource that is available 50% of the time, or up to 20 hours per week. No specific hours that can be planned in a calendar.
I want to assign that resource to a task with a 2 hr duration. When I do this, the work value calcs as 1hr. If I modify the work to force it to 2 hrs, the effort changes to 100% causing an overallocation!
If a resource is available up to 20 hours per week, and they are assigned to do only 2 hours, wouldn’t it be reasonable to expect the full 2 hours of work!
