AskWoody MVPNovember 16, 2017 at 8:20 am #145887Thank you for the heads up! Looking forward to fixes being implemented. This is always a great resource, worth checking in with, even when the site has problems…
Hope it won’t be down for long, because I was planning on using the Amazon link here to launch my holiday shopping, and support the AskWoody Lounge in that small way…
Thank you, Woody and MPVs for the info and helps.

Hopefully you can bookmark the AskWoody Amazon affiliate link before the site goes offline for the holiday break:

AskWoody PlusNovember 17, 2017 at 1:45 pm #146113Just a heads up that today going to https://askwoody.com gives a 400 bad request error. Visiting https: works fine.
EDIT: Forum automatically adding the s to http above. Going to non-secure gives the error, going to the secure url works.

AskWoody PlusNovember 19, 2017 at 10:54 am #146415Greetings,
Many browsers can utilize an add-on known as HTTPS-Everywhere, from the EFF. It adds yet another useful layer of security and infrequently causes any problems (a quick search will provide numerous reviews); I highly recommend it: https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere. Please do take a look at it.
Cheers,
