Usually, I do not archive my Outlook folders but rather back up these folders for ready access from a CDRom. Periodically the software “asks” if I want to archive. Yesterday, instead of hitting “no” I hit “yes.” It archived all but the last three months of stuff. I still have the archive location on the hard disk. Can I simply import them from the archive to restore them? If restoration is not that simple, can anyone cite me to a previous thread detailing how to restore my archived email and calendar? Thanks.

Find the archive pst and use File, Open to open it, then Move the messages to it. Using Import is faster, but it can lead to problems with messed up dates. Then go into Tools, Options, Other, AutoArchive and disable archiving or change hte parameters.
