      Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update (KB951847)

      Should the above be patched

      Yes. Either that, or remove .NET Framework from your system (which ain’t a bad idea, unless you really need it for some application).

      I hate to say it, but if you have .NET Framework installed, you really do need to get it updated.

      As with the .NET Framework 3.5 patch, you did not originally warn not to install the AutoRuns Patch (KB 967715 for Windows XP). I have installed it and everything seems to be working OK, but you really should issue these warnings before recommending readers to apply all outstanding patches (except for the Active X Killbits Patch). This makes two patches you did not warn about in your original February MS DEFCON-3 original status update post.
