This sort of thing happens in business more often than you might think. In Hollywood, and in some Union negotiations, the situation can be almost as strange and messy. (Ever hear of Union members working without a contract while the legal battle rages on?) You read and hear about these higher-profile legal spats more than you hear about everyday corporate legal squabbles because the media pay special attention to certain organizations (or celebrities) but not so much towards other, more ordinary businesses or people.
