To update a table you need an update query and not an append query.
Add the cstlostmoney field to the table that haven’t it.
Create a query with the tblcustomer and tblthird.
Set the relation to the key field.
Add one field to the query : the one you add in the previous step.
In the menu select Query | Update Query.
In the new line Update To enter the existing cstlostmoney field.
Run the query.

Don’t forget : make first a backup of you mdb.
